How Companies Get Found by Investors: Profiles, Press Releases and Spotlights

Disclosure: Optuny is a sister company of Positive Stocks and shares an owner with it. Paid placements on this site are always labeled. Nothing here is investment advice.

Most small and growing companies have the same problem. They are doing real work, but the people who could back them, buy from them or write about them have never heard of them. Positive Stocks was built to help investors learn. It also gives companies a clear, honest place to be found. This guide explains how that works and how to take part.

Why being found matters

A public company can file every report on time and still go unseen. An investor who is curious about a topic like battery storage or small caps is not scrolling through filing databases. They are searching for plain explanations and company names. If your story is told clearly in a place they already trust, you get found. That is the whole idea behind our company pages.

Three ways to be featured

A company profile

Every company can have a profile page. It shows what you do, where you trade, who runs the company and links to your official filings and website. Public company facts come from official filings. You can claim your profile, correct it and keep it fresh. A basic profile is free to claim. Profiles are grouped by topic on StockVert, so an investor reading about solar or robotics can find you next to your peers.

A press release

When you have real news, like a contract, a milestone or a new filing, a release is a clean way to tell people. We publish releases as news items with a clear label that they came from the company. Releases are written in plain English, link to the source documents and never promise results.

A company spotlight

A spotlight is a featured space on the site. Think of it as a short, well made story about your company, placed where investors read about your field. It carries a Sponsored label from the first line. We do not hide it and we do not write it like a news report. You can see how it works on the Company Spotlight page.

The rules we follow

Trust is the only thing a site like this really has, so we keep a few rules. Paid content is always labeled. We do not tell anyone to buy or sell a stock. We do not make price predictions. We do not promise returns. Every claim in a profile or spotlight has to point to a source, such as a filing, a press release or the company website. If we cannot support a statement, it does not run.

Positive Stocks is also not a broker, an adviser or a research firm. We are an education and news site. If a company pays for placement, that fact is shown to the reader.

Where Optuny fits in

Being listed is a start. Getting in front of the right people takes outreach. That is what Optuny does. Optuny is a separate company that runs outreach, calls, digital PR and weekly reporting for businesses that want to be noticed by investors, partners and customers. It works in 30 and 90 day programs and gives you the data and contacts at the end.

The two are different on purpose. Positive Stocks is where readers learn and where your profile lives. Optuny is the team that helps you reach people. You can use either one without the other. Optuny does not take shares, warrants or options as payment, and it does not make securities recommendations.

What a good spotlight looks like

The best ones answer five plain questions. What does the company do? Who buys from it? What changed recently? What are the risks? Where can a reader check the facts? If a spotlight can answer those in a few short paragraphs, it helps the reader and it helps the company. If it reads like an ad, it does neither.

Who it is a good fit for

It is a good fit for small caps and micro caps with real news, private companies looking for investors or partners, and growth companies in fields people are curious about right now, such as nuclear, solar, battery storage, robotics, space, AI and quantum. It is not a good fit for a company that wants hype. We will say no to that.

How to get started

Start with a free profile. Tell us the company name, ticker if you have one, the field you are in and a link to your official filings or site. We will check it, build the page and send it to you to approve. From there you can add a press release or ask about a spotlight. Reach us from the For companies page or the contact page.

If you want outreach help on top of that, visit optuny.com and ask for a first call.

Questions we hear

Is a profile free? Claiming a basic profile is free. Spotlights and releases are paid and always labeled. Will you say my stock is a good buy? No. We explain and report. We do not recommend. Can I edit what you wrote? You can correct facts. We keep editorial control of the wording and the labels. How fast can it go live? A basic profile can usually be ready within days of getting your information.

A short checklist before you send us your details

Have these ready and the process moves fast. Your legal company name and ticker, if you have one. A two sentence description of what you do, written the way you would explain it to a friend. Links to your latest annual or quarterly report and your most recent news. The names of your leadership team as shown on your site or filings. One or two risks you think a reader should know about. And a contact person who can answer questions quickly. Companies that send honest, complete information get live sooner and look better, because readers can tell when a page is straight with them.

Positive Stocks is for education and information only. It is not an offer to buy or sell any security. Investing involves risk, including loss of money. Always do your own research and speak with a licensed professional.
